Stuff to Know If You Go

H2030 workdayBring

For our habitat restoration workdays, all you need is a pair of tough shoes or boots, a sweatshirt and coat if it’s cold, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, a water bottle, and a hat. We’ll supply work gloves and tools.

We strongly recommend against nylon or other synthetic fabrics, as sparks from the fire will melt holes in them.

Come rain, cold, or shine—we only stop work in downpours and lightning storms, and the fire’ll keep ya warm! When in doubt, check the events page, where we’ll post rare cancellations if necessary.

We encourage carpooling. We have a carpool map and list! Since it contains private information (addresses and contact info), fill out this short form to get access and add yourself to the carpool group.
